BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The nominal income of Azerbaijan's population from January through July 2024 increased by 5.79 percent, or 2.57 billion manat ($1.5 billion), compared to the same period in 2023 and reached 47 billion manat ($27.6 billion), according to preliminary data, Trend reports.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan indicate that per capita income shot through the roof by a whopping 5.27 percent, or 231.6 manat ($136), during the mentioned period.
The indicator of growth of the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 5.53 percent, or 2.17 billion manat ($1.28 billion), compared to the same period in 2023.
Meanwhile, per capita income grew by 5.01 percent, or 194.4 manat ($114.3).

To note, the nominal incomes of the population of Azerbaijan in 2023 increased by 12.85 percent, or 8.8 billion manat ($5.1 billion), compared to 2022 and reached 78 billion manat.
The per capita income grew by 12.2 percent, or 835.9 manat ($491.7) in the mentioned period. The growth rate of personal income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 12.83 percent, or 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion), compared to the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, per capita income grew by 12.19 percent, or 741.8 manat ($436.3).
