BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10
By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
Azerbaijan’s Whelp startup project, one of the most successful startups in the world, has been chosen to participate in the US Techstars Toronto accelerator program, the Azerbaijan Innovation Agency told Trend on April 9.
The agency stressed that the Whelp project is a cloud-based and artificial intelligence-driven customer support platform.
"Thanks to the integration of a number of features into the system, the parties can communicate directly via voice messages, e-mail, chat, SMS and WhatsApp, which, in turn, will have a positive effect on the quality and speed of customer service," the agency said.
Moreover, participation in the program of TechStars world famous and leading accelerator gives the Whelp team the opportunity to attract big investments and develop a startup.
The market value of Azerbaijan’s Whelp project is $3 million.
"Our success testifies to the global competitiveness of Azerbaijani startups," Whelp founder Seymur Rasulov said. "I hope that our team can take advantage of this first international success and expand its activity in Canada and other neighboring countries."
The TechStars acceleration program will ensure mentoring and render financial support to the winning startups during 13 weeks, as well as provide opportunities to enter the global ecosystems.
