BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, February 12. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) has begun financing the construction of the modern and eco-friendly TES Hotel in Kyrgyzstan's city of Osh, Trend reports.

The project involves building a three-story extension to the existing building, which will increase the hotel’s room capacity to 43. The design also includes the integration of cutting-edge green technologies.

One of the hotel's key features will be the use of geothermal energy for heating and hot water, as well as the installation of solar panels on the roof to generate electricity.

"Today, we signed a financing agreement for the construction of the first green hotel in the southern regions of the republic. I am confident that the trend of creating eco-friendly tourist facilities will continue to grow in our country, contributing to the sustainable development of the industry and the economy as a whole," said Artem Novikov, Chairman of the RKDF's Management Board.

The total cost of the project is approximately $1 million, with 70 percent of the funding provided by the RKDF.
