BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 13. The Council of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) has given the green light for funding three renewable energy projects in Kyrgyzstan, racking up a total of over $80 million.
According to data obtained by Trend from Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce, this announcement was made during the 19th Council meeting of the RKDF. During the meeting, the Fund's 2023 performance report was also reviewed
Additionally, the Council approved revisions to the Fund's Investment Policy to streamline project appraisal and approval, improving investment processing.
Established on November 24, 2014, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund has financed over 3,400 projects over the past decade, with a total investment of $727.5 million.
At present, the VI Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum is in full swing in Issyk-Kul, with the RKDF pulling the strings as its organizer.
