BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Uzbekistan's financial sector index at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 259.58 points on January 19, increasing by 18.46 points from January 18 (241.12), Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has decreased, settling at 2,503.41 points – a decrease of 85.75 points compared to the January 18 figure (2,589.16 points).
The figure for the construction sector reached 4,250.42 points on January 19 from 4,240.28 points on January 18.
The trade sector index reached 12,972.6 points on January 19, increasing by 8.32 points compared to the January 18 figure (12,964.3 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994 to help further expand economic reforms in the country and protect private property and business development.
