BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 20. Uzbekistan's financial sector index at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 257.41 points on January 20, decreasing by 2.17 points from January 19 (259.58), Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has decreased, settling at 2,333.53 points – a decrease of 169.88 points compared to the January 19 figure (2,503.41 points).
The figure for the construction sector reached 4,287.57 points on January 20 from 4,250.42 points on January 19.
The trade sector index reached 12,987.1 points on January 20, increasing by 14.49 points compared to the January 19 figure (12,972.6 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994 to help further expand economic reforms in the country and protect private property and business development.
