Iran's foreign ministry spokesman condemned suicide truck bombing of Pakistan on Saturday.
Hassan Qashqavi expressed deep sorrow over the event on behalf of Iran's nation and government, reported ISNA.
The Islamic Republic of Iran believes and emphasizes that security, stability and peace in Pakistan is to the benefit of all regional countries, he added.
The bombing at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad killed at least 60 people and injured more than 260. Islamabad blames Al-Qaeda terrorist group for the attack.
