BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. The sales of Iranian Fanavaran petrochemical company increased by 25 percent during the first five months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year, the statement of Iran's Fanavaran petrochemical company said, Trend reports.
Sales of Iran's Fanavaran petrochemical company amounted to 48.3 trillion rials (about $114 million) during the five months.
The company's sales amounted to about 12.5 trillion rials (about $29.5 million) in the 5th month (from July 22 through August 21, 2024). This is a 71 percent increase compared to the same month last year (from July 23 through August 22, 2023) and a 60 percent increase compared to the fourth month (June 21 through July 21, 2024).
The value of the company's methanol exports for the five months amounted to 8.08 trillion rials (about $19 million).
To note, the Iranian Fanavaran Petrochemical Company was established in 1998. This company is located on an area of 25 ha in Khuzestan province in southwest Iran. It has the potential to produce 1 million tons of methanol, 150,000 tons of acetic acid, and 140,000 tons of carbon monoxide annually.
