BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Car transit through the western ports of Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province in the first 2 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 - May 21, 2025) has risen by 2 percent compared to the same period last year, Morteza Salari, Director of the Ports and Maritime Affairs in Western Hormozgan, told reporters, Trend reports.
Salari noted that 34,000 passenger cars passed through these ports during the past two months, mainly transiting towards Iraq and Central Asian countries.
