Georgian air cargo transportation sector in September 2021 decreased by 52 percent, compared to September 2020, Trend reports via Georgian media.
According to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency, cargo turnover also decreased by 51.8 percent in September 2021, compared to the reporting period of 2020.
The volume of air cargo in September 2021 amounted to 1.3 million tons, compared to 2.7 million tons over the same period of 2020.
The cargo flow in Tbilisi International Airport has decreased by 44.6 percent in September 2021, compared to the same period of 2019, when the airport handled 2.3 million tons of cargo.
