BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Turkish automobile industry exports to Uzbekistan increased by 27.1 percent year-on-year to $34.9 million from January through June 2024, the statement of Türkiye's trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $4.3 million worth of automotive products to Uzbekistan in June this year, which is 0.5 percent more than in June last year," the statement from the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of automotive industry products increased by 2.3 percent year-on-year to $17 billion from January through June 2024.
"In June this year, Türkiye exported automotive industry products worth $2.6 billion, down 12.4 percent year-on-year," the statement notes.
To note, Türkiye exported $35.4 billion worth of automotive products over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
