BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. The value of steel exports from Türkiye to Kazakhstan decreased in 11 months of 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the Turkish Trade Ministry shows that this figure amounted to $27.79 million, 18.6 percent down year-on-year.
Türkiye exported steel products worth $3.3 million to Kazakhstan in November 2024, which is 24.8 percent less than from January through November 2023.
To note, Türkiye's steel exports abroad increased by 8.9 percent to $14.7 million in 11 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year.
This November, the country exported steel worth $1.2 million abroad, which is an 8.5-percent hike from last November.
Additionally, Türkiye's steel exports to world markets during the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024) equaled $16 million.
