Opposition parties of Azerbaijan have made a decision to act jointly and form a united resistance movement in a broad format. This decision has been made during today's meeting of leaders of opposition parties of the country at the headquarters of the Democratic party of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, opposition representatives discussed the path of future struggles and the situations some political parties and independent media have been faced with. It was decided that further discussions were needed on forming a united resistance movement of the opposition party. On 1 December at 16:00 hours, leaders of the opposition will gather at the headquarters of opposition party Musavat.
An agreement was reached on the necessity to establish a united superior organization of the opposition as an important part in the formation of the united centre for the struggle and action of the opposition parties.
