BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov attended the 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Israel Joint Commission in Israel, the publication of the minister said on his X page, Trend reports.
"Within the framework of our working visit to the State of Israel, we, together with colleagues, participated in the 4th session of the Azerbaijan–Israel Joint Commission. We underscored the importance of strengthening the engagement between the business communities of both countries and examined opportunities to advance joint activities in trade, investment, energy, agriculture, transportation, digitalization, tourism, and other priority areas.
These efforts reflect our shared objectives of diversifying economic cooperation and further deepening the business partnership," the publication reads.
According to Azerbaijan's Customs Committee, from January through October this year, trade between Azerbaijan and Israel totaled $69.6 million. During the same period, Azerbaijan’s exports to Israel amounted to $21.5 million, while imports from Israel reached $48.2 million.
