DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 26. Tajikistan’s gross agricultural output reached 32.26 billion somoni ($3.4 billion) from January through July 2025, which is a 5 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistical Agency shows that crop production accounted for 21.23 billion somoni ($2.24 billion), up by 1.9 percent, while livestock output totaled 11.03 billion somoni ($1.16 billion), showing an 11.4 percent rise year-on-year.
Over the reporting period, household farms contributed 46.8 percent of the total output, dehkan (peasant) farms accounted for 38.8 percent, and public farms made up 14.4 percent.
As of August 1, 2025, agricultural enterprises across the country had 24,789 tractors of various models, with 19,478 in working condition, representing 78.6 percent of the fleet.
In addition, 5,949 tons of diesel fuel were supplied to public and dehkan farms in the period from January through July 2025, which is 127 tons more than in the same period of 2024.
