BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. Iran's daily production from the Yadavaran oil field, a joint venture with Iraq, has increased 4,000 barrels since April 5 (2025), Mojtaba Moradi Enayat, an official of the Iranian Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, this brings the daily output from the Yadavaran field to 117,000 barrels, up from 114,000 barrels.
The official confirmed that the field's production remains stable and is closely monitored.
Moreover, the volume of gas extracted alongside the oil and sent to the NGL-3200 plant has also increased by 4 million cubic feet (about 113,000 cubic meters) per day. Currently, 116 million cubic feet (about 3.28 million cubic meters) of gas is being delivered daily to the plant.
The Yadavaran oil field, located 60 km southwest of the city of Ahvaz, Khuzestan province, on the Iran-Iraq border, has oil reserves of 6.3 billion barrels. The production of 6.2 billion barrels is reportedly possible. In the first phase of the field, 49 wells are producing more than 110,000 barrels of oil daily.
