BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The number of passengers arriving at the international airport of Türkiye's Adana increased by 20 percent and amounted to over 3.5 million people in September 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye shows that the airport's passenger traffic on domestic flights increased by 18 percent and amounted to 2.9 million people, and on international flights - by 33 percent, to 659,581 people in September.
In addition, the airport's cargo turnover increased by nine percent and amounted to 37,563 tons in September this year, year-on-year. The airport's cargo turnover on domestic flights increased by 10 percent and amounted to 27,676 tons, and on international flights - by four percent and amounted to 9,887 tons compared to the same period of the preceding year.
In general, the number of flights from the airport increased by six percent and amounted to 35,761 in September 2023 year-on-year.
