Smart Systems Technology has finished the integration of the updated version of the Smart Bank automated banking system in four Azerbaijani financial institutions, Marketing Manager Subhan Garagezov told Trend.
Garagezov said the main stage of the integration has been completed in Turan Bank, NBC Bank, Caucasian Development Bank and Express Bank.
The system renovation is under completion in Agrarkredit non-banking credit organization.
The company renewed the contracts with 80 percent of banks with which it cooperates in this area. The system will be gradually updated in other banks, where the system has been used today.
The fourth new version of Smart Bank system is being installed in the banks. According to the banks' requirements and the instructions of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, a new account structure and Unicode are being introduced.
IBAN will be used in the interbank settlements from September 2012in accordance with the Central Bank's decision.
Smart Bank system has been developed on the basis of database management system Oracle. Smart Bank can act as a client-server, and support the Application Server. The core has been created with support of scripts and plug-ins. The system fully automates all types of banking activities.
