Azerbaijan's Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev has met a delegation of the University of Gazi of Turkey headed by the Rector of the University, M.D. Kadri Yamadju, Trend reports. The Turkish delegation consited of M.D. Tulu Oygul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University Prof. Mehmet Kitabchi, Dean of the Faculty of Residenture of The Univesrity Nasibu Gulguz.
According to the press-service of the Azerbaijan Health Ministry, during the meeting, Mr. Shiraliyev stresed that mutual visits of the specialsist of the two countries paid, holding joint work is aimed for having educational programs in both of the countries.
The Azerbaijani Minister expressed his satisfation woth the level of knowledge of the Azerbaijani studentswho obtained education in Turley, and said that cooperation betweeen the Turkish University of Gazi and the Azerbaijani Medical University has been started since 1993.
The Rector of the Turkish University told that he has enogh information about reforms being held in the sphere of health care and health protection in Azerbaijan. The main aim of the University, in his opinion, is to expand cooperation with the Azerbaijan Medical University, as wel as traning of the high-skilled staff.
