India's Delicious Mango may start supplies of mango to Uzbekistan's InterSok LLC with the prospect of further supply of juices produced in Uzbekistan back to India, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Uzbekistan stated.
The corresponding agreements were achieved after a meeting in the CCI of Uzbekistan with an Indian delegation of the State of Uttar Pradesh, led by Director of the Council for Marketing of Agriculture of the Uttar Pradesh Government Ramakant Pandey and representatives of the Indian business community.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expansion of mutual trade in fruits and vegetables.
The Indian side provided detailed information on possibilities of supplying mango to Uzbekistan, showed a video about cultivation, processing and supply of mango from India to foreign markets.
Representatives of fruit processing enterprises and trading companies engaged in export of agricultural products to foreign countries took part in the meeting from the Uzbek side.
Uzbek company Shirok Ltd offered the possibility of supplying beans to India (mung beans, chickpeas, beans), as well as walnuts and peanuts. The Indian company Green Vege Exports was proposed to consider possibility of organizing supply of beans and nuts from Uzbekistan to India.
