The gross output in the Keles district of Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region reached 46.9 billion tenge in 2018, Trend reports via Kazakh media.
The press service of the Turkistan region’s administration informed that this year it is planned to increase the gross output of the district to 62.3 billion tenge, and the number of small and medium-sized entities to 7,400.
As part of the State Program of Industrial Innovative Development, two investment projects in the amount of 327.4 million tenge were introduced into the Business Support Roadmap, and two investment projects totaling 411 million tenge were proposed.
Last year, a project worth 250 million tenge was implemented in the Keles district and 30 jobs were created. This year it is planned to put into operation four projects worth 738.4 million tenge with providing 135 people with permanent jobs.
Also, a feasibility study is being prepared to create infrastructure for the construction of an industrial zone in the Keles district.
Turkistan region’s administration also informed that last year 5.67 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the district. Of them, 2.85 billion tenge was allocated from the national budget, 1.42 billion tenge from the local budget, and 1.37 billion tenge from private funds. In 2019, it is planned to attract investments in the amount of more than 6 billion tenge.
