BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Android's grip on Azerbaijan's operating system market in August 2024 slipped to 60.52 percent, taking a hit of 4.48 percentage points compared to the month before, Trend reports via the Global Stats statistical center.
According to the Global Stats data, Windows, the brainchild of
Microsoft, has climbed the ladder to snag second place, boasting a
market share of 21.27 percent, which is a leap of 3.18 percentage
points from last month.
Apple's iOS may still be playing third fiddle, but it's managed to
turn the tide by gaining 1.47 percentage points and hitting a 12.66
percent share.
Devices strutting their stuff on the macOS X (Apple) platform
hold a modest 1.59 percent of the market, marking a tidy little
growth of 0.22 percentage points over the month.
In the Azerbaijani market, other operating systems are hanging by a
thread, with Linux holding a mere 1.36 percent, slipping down by
0.07 percentage points over the month. Meanwhile, a mixed bag of
various other systems is chipping in, adding up to a total of 2.6
percent.
