TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 21. Uzbekistan’s Navoiyazot industrial plant is set to increase capacity through the commissioning new production facilities in 2024, Trend reports.
As per data by Navoiyazot, at the moment, modern equipment worth $15 million is being installed in the technological complex. With the commissioning of the enterprise, created jointly with the Polish company, 150 new jobs will be created.
Moreover, additional capacities are planned to be installed in the complex equipped with Chinese equipment. This will allow replacing previously imported stainless steel and iron products with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes.
As a result, significant funds will be saved, and the components necessary for the needs of Navoyiazot JSC will be produced at the enterprise itself.
Earlier this month it was announced that Navoiyazot is prepared to start producing laminated polypropylene bags of various capacities for packaging completed goods.
Moreover, following the Uzbek-German business meeting held in Berlin on May 2, the German Linde company and Navoiyazot agreed earlier this year to install air separation equipment in Uzbekistan.
The project's investment is anticipated to be $90 million based on preliminary estimations. The new air separation equipment will be available in the first quarter of 2026.
