TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 11. Uzbekistan exported 1,581 tons of apples worth $934,600 from January through February 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee shows that this figure has increased by 5.1 times compared to the same period last year.
The largest share of these exports went to Russia, which received 1,020 tons of apples, followed by Kazakhstan with 341 tons. Turkmenistan imported 148 tons, while Mongolia received 40 tons. Additionally, other countries accounted for 30 tons of the total exports.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan exported 44,298 tons of apples, earning $14.5 million in revenue in 2024. Kazakhstan emerged as the top importer, purchasing 34,315 tons of Uzbek apples.
Other major destinations included Russia (5,837 tons), Kyrgyzstan (3,751 tons), Tajikistan (128 tons), Mongolia (118 tons), and several other countries, accounting for a total of 149 tons.
