BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Azerbaijan's turnover through new generation cash registers exceeded 17.7 billion manat ($10.4 billion) from January through July 2024, up 10.7 percent compared to the indicator of the same period last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy shows that 101,605 new-generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities of the country.
Their installation has been a step-by-step journey since the second quarter of 2019.
To note, the turnover through new generation cash registers almost reached 22 billion manat ($12.94 billion) in 2023, which is an increase of 14.2 percent.
