BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. Last year, stationary vehicles in Azerbaijan moved a whopping 43.1 million tons of cargo, raking in a cool $23.1 billion.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that the value decreased by $7.6 billion (24.9 percent) and the volume - by 4.3 million tons (nine percent) compared to 2023.
During the reporting year, $23 billion worth of 42.7 million tons were exported from Azerbaijan by the above vehicles, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of $7.4 billion (24.3 percent) and 3.1 million tons (6.7 percent).
Meanwhile, 385,600 tons of cargo worth $93.4 million were imported into Azerbaijan by stationary vehicles, down $275.3 million (74.7 percent) and 1.2 million tons (75.5 percent) compared to the previous year.
