BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. Azerbaijan's gold output experienced a substantial uptick in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure reached 236.2 kg, up 88.5 percent (110.9 kg) compared to the same month last year (125.3 kg).
As of February 1 of the current year, the amount of ready gold reserves in the country was 207.4 kg.
To note, 2,663 kg of gold were produced in Azerbaijan last year, decreasing by 97 kg (3.5 percent) from 2023 (2,660 kg).
