BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan produced 478.3 kg of gold from January through February of this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee whows that this metric experienced an uptick of 214.7 kilograms, translating to a substantial 81.4 percent increase relative to the corresponding timeframe from the previous year (263.6 kg).
As of the first of March in the current fiscal year, the quantified metric of liquid gold reserves within the national treasury stood at 160.4 kilograms.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan's gold output for the previous fiscal year reached 2,663 kg, reflecting a decrement of 97 kg, equating to a contraction of 3.5 percent relative to the 2023 figure of 2,660 kg.
