BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Azerbaijan produced a total of 749.4 kilograms of gold from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that gold production increased by 321.8 kilograms, or 75.3 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan produced 427.6 kilograms of gold in the first quarter of last year. The country's gold reserves amounted to 196.8 kilograms as of April 1, 2025.
Azerbaijan produced 2,663 kilograms of gold in 2024, which was a decrease of 3.5 percent or 97 kilograms compared to the prior year, when 2,660 kilograms of gold were produced.
