BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Azerbaijan produced 1,026.3 kilograms of gold from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that gold output increased by 426.8 kilograms, or 71.2 percent, compared to the same period last year (599.5 kilograms).
The country’s ready gold reserves totaled 64.5 kilograms as of May 1, 2025. Last year, Azerbaijan’s total gold production reached 2,663 kilograms, marking a slight decrease of 3.5 percent compared to 2023 (2,760 kilograms).
