BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Last year saw a decline in prices across global commodity markets, particularly in energy resources.
Data obtained by Trend from the draft law on the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2024 shows that the average annual price of a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil settled at $82.8. This is 3.8 percent lower than the average price in 2023, but 10.4 percent higher than the benchmark figure of $75.0 used in the 2024 state budget.
