BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan produced 1,298 kg from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this figure grew by 505.8 kg (63.9 percent) compared to the same period in 2024 (792 kg).
As of June 1 of this year, the country's ready gold reserves were 119.4 kilograms.
Overall, during the reporting period, the total value of production in the country's mining industry amounted to 16.2 billion manat ($9.5 billion), a decrease of 2.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
