ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 21. The volume of refined gold production in Kazakhstan amounted to 41.9 tons from January through June 2024, Trend reports, citing the country's Bureau of National Statistics.
Thus, production volume increased by 1.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023 (41.3 tons).
At the same time, in June 2024 alone, 10.1 tons of refined gold were produced in Kazakhstan, which is 3.9 percent less than in the same month of 2023 (10.55 tons).
In addition, compared to May 2024 (7.1 tons), bituminous production in June increased by 41.7 percent.
Meanwhile, at the end of 2023, gold ore production amounted to 41.4 million tons, and raw gold production amounted to 132.7 tons. Volume of refined gold – 72.9 tons.
