BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 16. Three police officers and one civilian were killed in an armed incident last night in the Fahraj County of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement, Trend reports.
The incident was caused by an attack by unknown gunmen on a checkpoint set up in the county.
A large number of law enforcement officers were involved in the incident, and an investigation is underway.
