Iran’s non-oil exports, including condensates have witnessed an increase by over 13.7 percent in terms of value during the first five months of the current fiscal year (March 20-Aug. 22).
The customs administration said Aug. 27 that the country’s non-oil exports, including gas condensate, reached $19.32 billion during the period.
The volume of the exported goods reached 46.3 million tons in the 4-month period.
The country includes gas condensate and some raw hydrocarbon products, like propane, butane, etc. in its non-oil export basket.
During the period, the country exported $2.17 billion worth of condensate, followed by liquefied propane (worth $845 million), light oils excluding gasoline ($734 million), methanol ($560 million) and film grade polyethylene ($496 million).
Iran’s petrochemical exports accounted to 30 percent of overall exports’ value, meanwhile condensates share was 11.23 percent.
China was the main importer of the Iranian goods during the period. Iran’s non-oil exports to China stood at $3.774 billion.
The United Arab Emirates ($3.5 billion), Iraq ($3.42 billion), Afghanistan ($1.433 billion) and India ($987 million) were other top importers of Iranian non-oil goods during the first five months of the current fiscal year.
