The commodity exchange is the best and only mechanism for carrying out control of the function of companies in the commodity markets, member of Iran's Parliamentary Economic Commission Seyyed Naser Mousavi Largani said in an interview with ILNA.
“Control should be fully transparent”, he added.
Largani noted that if all the products on the commodity exchange are offered for sale with the support of the government and all consumers buy goods from the commodity exchange, current problems will not exist, because all products will be real and transparent, and the off-market brokerage will be minimized.
A member of the Iranian parliament called it important to reveal real prices in the economy.
“Small manufacturing facilities that can not purchase directly or at once in the commodity market can buy their products through cooperatives or associations. This has simplified the needs of manufacturers”, Larigani added.
