Bidzina Ivanishvili's "Georgian Dream" coalition first pre-election rally started at Liberty Square in Tbilisi. The action started with a delay of 40 minutes, as Ivanishvili moved towards the area with the column and was late because of the accumulation of a large number of people.

Liberty Square gathered according to various estimates, from 30 to 50 thousand people, who welcomed the appearance of their leader.

The event opened with the anthem of Georgia.

After the national anthem Ivanishvili turned to the crowd in the square. He greeted them with a "historic day" and underlined that he is a citizen of Georgia.

"I am happy at the fact that together we begin to struggle to build a united, strong and happy Georgia", - he said, noting that the number of the audience proves that the "Georgian Dream" has worked not for nothing the last few days.

He called for a moment of silence to honor the memory of all who died for freedom of Georgia.

"My dream has always been a united and strong Georgia, where free people live and where everyone gets what they deserve. I expected that Georgia will become a strong and united, but the rolling post-independence period was long, and I decided to start a fight with the regime," - he said.

He called the coming parliamentary elections a very important issue.

Ivanishvili expressed satisfaction with the fact that today all the opposition forces in Georgia, with the exception of the parliamentary opposition, which he does not think the opposition, is united.

Ivanishvili promised to solve the issue of territorial integrity, after the restoration of which Georgia should join the EU and NATO. Also, he said, will be resolved the issues of unemployment, access to health care problems, improving social protection, the transformation of schools, the problems of agriculture. Ivanishvili promised that the Abkhazians and Ossetians will want to return to Georgia when they will see the development of the country, and the refugee problem will be solved, and Georgia will be home to all national minorities.

"We set realistic goals, we can not promise unrealizable, but we make up the real problem and if this power saving his chair, we'll take care of every citizen" - he said.

The leader of the coalition announced the beginning of the campaign, which by the end of June, will cover all of Georgia and completed the victory in the parliamentary elections in the autumn.
