BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 25. The volume of goods and services in the industrial sector produced in Baku reached 51.3 billion manat ($30.1 billion) from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
According to the information published on the website of the Baku Statistical Department, of the mentioned volume, 79.3 percent of industrial products were produced in the extractive industry, 17.9 percent in the processing industry, 2.1 percent in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.7 percent in the water supply, cleaning, and waste treatment industries.
The share of the non-state sector in the industry in Baku amounted to 86.7 percent.
The share of industrial products in the volume of production in Baku amounted to 91.7 percent; the rest was accounted for by services.
Most of the manufactured products were sent to consumers.
The warehouses of industrial enterprises had a stock of finished products worth 459.6 million manat ($270.3 million) as of December 1, 2023.
