Former director of central branch of Zamin Bank has been partially satisfied.
Today Baku Appeal Court announced verdict on appeal of the Vidadi Khudiyev, former director of the central branch of Zamin Bank.
According to the verdict, the Serious Crimes Court's verdict was changed and Khudiyev was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
Earlier, the Serious Crimes Court sentenced Khudiyev to 10 years imprisonment.
Khudiyev is charged with Article 179.1, 179.3.2 (misappropriation and embezzlement), 308.1 (abuse of official duties) of the Criminal Code.
The operations conducted by the officers of the Central Counter Organized Crime Department discovered that director of central branch of Zamin Bank, of Baku city, Vidadi Khudiyev misused his administrative power by falsifying bank documents and appropriating AZN 100,000 belonging to Orkhan Shirinov and Sardar Garibov, press service of Interior Ministry said.
