Average monthly salary increased by 3.2 percent in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh economy and budget planning ministry said.
On the backdrop of slowing inflation real incomes and wages of the people is increasing. Average per capita real income rose by 3.2 percent, wages - also by 3.2 percent, the ministry said.
The growth of wages was 25 percent in the public sector from Jan.1.
In addition, 238,700 jobs were opened and 177,300 persons employed during the implementation of the Road map project as of July 13, 2009, including 123,600 people were employed through the employment agencies, the ministry added.
These and other measures taken by the Kazakh Government in the labor market ensured the stability of unemployment rates. Its level was 6.6 percent in June, a rise by 0.1 percent over the 2008 figure.
