Since early 2019, the production of Tatoglu - Az Beton Konstruksiya, an Azerbaijani company engaged in the production of water, sewer pipes, sewer wells, declined by 30 percent, the director of the company Ayaz Abdulhamidov told Trend.
The decline in production is largely due to a decrease in consumer demand in this market segment, the director said.
"We are able to at least keep our production at a stable level, but since the purchasing power of the population has decreased in the market, we had to reduce production capacity," he said.
Abdulhamidov noted that the company also manufactures curbs and other reinforced concrete structures.
"Presently, our company is involved in several projects, in particular, in the construction and reconstruction of sewage systems in the Gabala, Agdash and Khachmaz districts. At the same time, we are participating in the reconstruction of the sewer system of the 'White City' in Baku," he added.
Tatoglu-Az Beton Konstruksiya has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2014.
