ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 9. In June 2025, Kazakhstan hit the nail on the head with a historic record for coal export loading by rail, Trend reports.
As per the communiqué from the Kazakhstan Railways press office,
a groundbreaking milestone was achieved in June 2025 concerning the
export logistics of coal by JSC Shubarkol Komir through the
Kazakhstan Railways infrastructure—totaling 841,000 tons, which
represents a 26 percent elevation over the average monthly
throughput for the year 2025.
Furthermore, the unprecedented throughput was facilitated by the
synergistic collaboration of railway personnel and all stakeholders
engaged in the logistics continuum.
During the reporting period, a cumulative throughput of 1.2 million
tons of coal was executed, reflecting an increase of 11.1 percent
relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous fiscal
year. In the context of Kazakhstan's logistical framework, a total
of 326,000 metric tons of coal were successfully mobilized and
transported across various nodes of the supply chain.
