The volume of oil refining will be increased by 20 million tons in 2020, up to 22 million tons in 2025, up to 30 million tons in 2020 in Turkmenistan. This is consistent with the Programme of oil and gas development of Turkmenistan until 2030.
The increase in production will be achieved through the development of existing and new capacities at refineries in Turkmenbashi and Seidi.
Moreover, new refineries will be built in Balkan province (region) in 2025 and Akhal and Mary provinces in 2030.
