BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. A total of 26.476 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through main pipelines passing through the territory of Azerbaijan from January through August 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee (SSC) indicates a 2.3 percent drop compared to the same period in 2023.
Despite the overall decline, the Southern Caucasus Pipeline, which starts in Baku, transported 14.876 billion cubic meters of gas destined for Türkiye and the EU.
This figure reflects a 2 percent increase from the previous eight-month period in 2023.
