The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced that in December 2006 the total oil pumping via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline will comprise of 400,000 tons, Trend reports.
Following the cessation of the Baku-Supsa pipeline for repair, the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) is obliged to pump oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields in three directions: Baku-Novorossiysk, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and by rail to the Georgian Black Sea port of Batumi.
