In the structure of market services in Uzbekistan as of December 1,2019, transport services occupy the largest share by the type of economic activity, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
From January through November 2019, their share amounted to 28.2 percent
Of the total volume of transport services, the share of road transport is 46.9 percent. Pipeline transportation in transport services is 20 percent. In turn, services provided by rail in the total volume of transport services reach 13.2 percent.
The share of services for the transportation of goods and passengers by air was fixed within 11.7 percent, and auxiliary transport activities - at the level of 8.2 percent.
Most of the transportation services account for services for the transportation of goods and passengers by road. In comparison with others, it is one of the most demanded due to the maneuverability and relatively low cost of the services provided.
Passenger transportation occupies a significant share in the volume of market services provided by road. From January through November 2019, the share of passenger road transport services reached 70.1 percent. The share of cargo transportation services in the total volume of market services provided by motor transport amounted to 29.9 percent.
Along with transport, high indicators were noted for trade services (25.1 percent), financial services (18.1 percent), communications and information services (5.7 percent).
A slight increase in volumes was noted in health services, with its share amounting to only 1.5 percent. A low specific weight was recorded in the field of rendering services for the repair of computers and household goods - 1.6 percent, in the field of architecture, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis - 2 percent, rental and rental services –2.1 percent.
The highest growth rates were recorded in financial services (158.9 percent), health services (109.5 percent), communication and informatization services, as well as in the field of architecture, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis (108.7 percent).
A slight increase was recorded in rental and rental services (2.5 percent), as well as in the services related to real estate (3.1 percent).
