Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan discuss prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev discussed the prospects of strengthening and expanding the bilateral cooperation, Kyrgyz President's press-service reported on Thursday.

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev is on his first official visit to Kazakhstan.

"Our views coincide on all points and now it is necessary to pose concrete aims [in bilateral cooperation]," Nazarbayev said.

Atambayev agreed that the mutual understanding was reached on all discussed issues and also urged to move to concrete issues of the resolutions.

Moreover, the Kazakh President expressed satisfaction with economic and political reforms carrying in Kyrgyzstan and promised to support the economic development of this country.

According to the Kazakh president, Kazakhstan provided Kyrgyzstan with $ 30 million humanitarian aid since the power has been changed in this country, Kazakh media reported.

The ceremony of bilateral documents is expected to be held within the meeting.
