BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. Kyrgyzstan recorded a decrease in remittances in July 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Bank, money transfers to Kyrgyzstan in July of this year decreased by 14.6 percent compared to June ($317.2 million) - to $270.6 million.
During this month, Russia ranked first among the countries of the world in terms of remittances to Kyrgyzstan ($259 million), followed by the US - $5.4 million.
Overall, the total volume of money transfers to Kyrgyzstan from January through July 2022 amounted to $1.6 billion.
