BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. Uzbekistan will launch an electronic portal of the agro-industrial market according to the presidential decree,Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
It will contain information on providing the population with basic types of agricultural products in the winter-spring period.
The portal will be created within three months by the Center for Digitalization of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.
This portal will be provided for guarantee of the provision of residents with food, monitor the supply of products in the required volumes and prevent unreasonable price increases.
The Center for Digitalization, together with the State Customs Committee, will create a database containing the types of products, the dates of their production and arrival, the delivery of which is expected in the next three months under the concluded contracts.
