Uzbekneftegaz shares data on diesel fuel production volume for 1Q2024

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 9. The volume of diesel fuel produced by Uzbekneftegaz, a state-owned holding company in Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry, has reached 50,900 tons from January through March 2024, Trend reports.

According to the data from the company, this figure has increased by 11,400 tons (128.8 percent) compared to the projected volume of 39,500 tons.

The production volume of diesel fuel decreased by 60,800 tons year-on-year (111,700 tons).

Meanwhile, the largest volume of products generated by the company falls on natural gas. Uzbekneftegaz produced natural gas in the amount of 6.9 billion cubic meters in the first quarter of 2024.

The value of exports amounted to $158.5 million, while imports reached $189.4 million during this period.

Uzbekneftegaz’s net profit amounted to 8.1 billion soums ($640,101) in the first quarter of 2024. Revenue volume reached 3.4 trillion soums ($268.6 million) during this period. The volume of expenditures totaled 3.39 trillion soums ($267.8 million) from January through March 2024.

In addition, the total volume of the company's investments totaled $287.4 million during this period.
